Inspired by the powerful non-fiction book THEY MARCHED INTO SUNLIGHT by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, David Maraniss, INTO SUNLIGHT tells the story of the creation of a dance that grew out of a choreographer’s profound reaction to our country going to war. The documentary chronicles a non-fiction book being translated into the artistry of dance and was filmed in New York and Vietnam.
