Filming INTO SUNLIGHT in Vietnam

Moving Pictures traveled to Vietnam to complete the principal photography for their dance documentary based on Into Sunlight. The film captures the choreographer Robin Becker as she stages her work in both Manhattan and Vietnam. The book They Marched Into Sunlight by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author, David Maraniss, inspired her dance.

While traveling with Robin Becker Dance in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, director Ron Honsa was able to explore the power of dance and story to embody the lasting legacy of not only the Vietnam War, but all wars.

Moving Pictures is excited to get into the edit room to complete this film that shows the transformative power of dance.
