Aerial Shoot for PEPCITY – PepsiCo’s Super Bowl Celebration Event

Director Ron Honsa and Jim McDonald of INVNT with camera drone
Director Ron Honsa was hired by INVNT, a global brand communications agency to shoot aerial footage of PepsiCo’s three-day celebration for Super Bowl XLVIII coined PEPCITY. Shot in Manhattan’s Bryant Park during one of the coldest nights of the winter, Moving Pictures used a custom-designed Heli-Cam Drone with a Sony NEX-5N camera for shooting HD video and stills of the 10,000 square feet complex that included a geodesic dome with video projection that housed numerous stages. The maneuverability of the remote-controlled drones allowed the pilots to fly above and around Bryant Park to get aerial footage from every angle, which captured the magnitude and excitement of PEPCITY.
